What is the Cost of the Program?

The cost for a student to travel and live in Costa Rica for 8 weeks with our program is $3,100. This includes airfare, support from a chaperone while in Costa Rica, and orientation sessions before traveling where students prepare for a successful exchange. Costa Rican families cover the costs for students room and board.  Additional costs that families may need to cover include medical insurance, immunizations, passport charges, and incidental expenses for gifts and extra activities.

We recommend that each student take $400 for incidental expenses in Costa Rica.

Payments are made in 3 installments between April and June.

Need-based scholarships are available.  You can use the following form to apply for assistance. Financial Assistance Form
